Background
What represents the essence of a laptop?
In the classic film Ghost in the Shell, the question “what defines a human being?“ is consistently raised and challenged.
To explore the diversity in the field of consumer electronics design, I got inspired by the concept of Ghost in the shell.
“What is the fundamental nature or essence of a laptop” has become the main design brief.
The Ghost of Laptop - Computing Module
To be able to inherit the consciousness of a laptop, a modular design becomes a reasonable solution in the near future. Through the assessment of real placement and mechanisms, we have completed the concept that individuals can carry a single computing module, enabling seamless user experiences and data transfer across various settings and devices.
