01/ Background
The uniqueness of Eastern culture lies in its understanding and concepts of how the world operates beyond the material realm, harboring new perspectives.
So in this experimental piece, we attempt to rely less on traditional elements and forms. Instead, we integrate the concept of "Qi" from Chinese philosophy into percussion performances, making it the core of our presentation.

02/ Concept
We visualize the imagery of "Qi" through smoke and fog, and imagine the changes in sound caused by the energy field. We extend the drum surface to redesign its form and shape.
03/ Prototyping
By utilizing the principle of an air cannon, as the force hits the drumhead, the compressed air within the drum is released, forming smoke rings of airwaves. This creates interactions and changes between humans and forces, sound and energy.
